After the snub comes the selection.

Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Blake Snell has been selected to the MLB All-Star Game scheduled for Tuesday. He replaces Cleveland's Corey Kluber.

Despite his impressive numbers this season, Snell was originally left off the American League All-Star team. He got word on Friday that he has been added to the roster.

He joins Rays catcher Wilson Ramos on the AL team. Manager Kevin Cash has been selected as a coach.

Through the first half of the season, Snell's posted a 12-5 record and 2.27 ERA.
