TAMPA, Fla. -- Evening sea breeze storms will end. Overnight will be partly cloudy, with lows in the upper 70s from Tampa Bay to low 70s north.

Light east winds will lead to a sea breeze on Sunday. Deeper moisture moves back in for Sunday, increasing the rain coverage. Showers and storms will develop in the mainly afternoon not far from the coast. Storms will then move slowly inland and will last into the evening. High will be in the low 90s under partly sunny skies.
On Monday, we barely hold on to the easterly flow pattern. Winds will be lightly out of the southeast in the morning. Winds will switch to south. Storms will be likely along the afternoon sea breeze. Highs will be near 90. A few storms may start early at the coast, but most of the coverage will be in the afternoon.

Another upper level trough deepens in the Eastern U.S. into the Gulf on Tuesday. This may bring the onshore flow back.
On Tuesday, the winds will be mainly southerly. There will be a chance for some showers or storms early along the coast. Storms will be more numerous though in the afternoon with the sea breeze. Highs will be in the upper 80s to near 90 under partly sunny skies.
Wednesday morning will also bring a small chance for some morning showers or storms along the coast. Light winds will shift to south. Storms will again form on the sea breeze in the afternoon. Highs will be near 90.
Starting on Thursday, the pattern should favor showers and storms developing in the afternoon and evening with the sea breeze.
The coverage of storms will drop slightly through Saturday, with slightly drier air overhead.

While a temporary decline in water levels on the Alafia River near Lithia has occurred, routing of upstream water along with additional thunderstorms Sunday afternoon will lead to another rise into minor flood stage by Monday.
Meanwhile, Cypress Creek at Worthington Gardens will continue to steadily rise, but is still expected to remain just below moderate flood stage.

At 9 p.m. Saturday the stage was 10.2 feet. Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
Flood stage is 8.0 feet. The river will continue rising to near 10.8 feet by Tuesday early afternoon then begin falling. Impact at 11.0 feet. Flooding threatens two homes on State Road 54.

The Alafia River at Lithia from Monday afternoon through late Wednesday night.
At 9 p.m. Saturday the stage was 12.4 feet. Minor flooding is forecast. Flood stage is 13 feet. The river is forecast to rise above flood stage by Monday afternoon and continue to rise to near 13.5 feet by Tuesday evening. The river is expected to fall below flood stage by Wednesday evening. Impact at 13.0 feet. River Drive and Squirrel Run Way downstream of County Road 640 are completely covered by water. One home begins to flood.
