East winds keep our dew points on the lower side of normal. So, low temperatures will be comfortable again with most of the area in the low to mid-70s.
Surface high pressure remains to our north keeping an east wind Sunday into the work week. Storms will start in the afternoon and move west into the Gulf by evening.
Sunday will start out comfortable with mostly sunny skies. It get hot quickly with the sun. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 90s. Showers and storms will develop in the afternoon and will move west toward the Gulf in the evening.

The rain coverage Monday and Tuesday stays at about 50 percent each day with a decent amount of atmospheric moisture overhead. Some drier moves in Wednesday, so the coverage then drops to 30 percent or less Wednesday through Friday.
Afternoon highs will still be in the low 90s. During the work week, a sea breeze is more likely, so the coastal areas will get a cooler sea breeze in the afternoons.
Morning lows will be in the mid to upper 70s.
