TAMPA, Florida —The cold front will continue moving south and away as cooler high pressure builds in.

  • Cool night with temps in the 50s
  • Monday will see temps in the mid-80s

This evening will be very comfortable as temperatures drop off more quickly.

Tonight will be very cool north, with lows in the low to mid 50s.  Tampa Bay will be in the mid-60s.

On Monday the dew points stay in the 50s to low 60s. It will be comfortable with highs in the mid-80s. It will be partly sunny and breezy.

It looks like the work week will be cooler than last week, but still above normal. Morning lows will be in the mid-60s to near 70. Highs will be in the mid-80s.

On Tuesday, high clouds will spread in. There may be a chance for some rain very late in the day.

There will be some small rain chances, Wednesday and Thursday under partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies.

On Friday, the cold front from Sunday moves back to the north as low pressure forms along it in the Gulf.  As the low moves east along the front, rain chances will ramp up across the area.  It will be mostly cloudy and breezy with thunderstorms possible Friday and Saturday.

The whole system moves southeast and out of the area next Sunday. Cooler and drier air will move in again.
