A motorcyclist was killed Saturday night when a driver turned in front him on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard and caused a crash, deputies say.
Kristopher Graham, 20, of Tampa was traveling south on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard around 5:30 p.m. in the median lane, ahead of another motorcyclist, Antoine Jones, 22, of Tampa.
Geraldine Bedford, 80, was headed north and attempting to turn left into University Plaza when she crossed into the path of Graham, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
Graham struck the passenger side of Bedford's 2011 Toyota Camry. Jones then collided with Graham's motorcycle.
Graham died at the scene. Jones suffered road burns to his arms and legs and was transported to Florida Hospital Tampa, where he was treated and released, authorities said.
A friend who had been following the two motorcyclists had stopped to render aid.
