You can see Angie Moreschi’s Consumer Wise segment on Your Morning News every Tuesday and throughout the day on Bay News 9.  Angie is a national award winning reporter, producer, anchor and host.

Her powerful stories have changed laws, led to criminal charges, closed bad businesses, and helped lead to the restructuring of an entire government agency.  Her work has been recognized with five national awards, 12 Emmys, and dozens of regional and local awards for excellence in journalism.

In addition to her Consumer Wise segments and fill-in anchor work on Bay News 9, Angie is also the Communications Director and an Investigator for the James Hoyer Law Firm in Tampa, where she produces documentaries on consumer and whistleblower cases.  Her 20 years of experience provide our viewers with unique advice and helpful tips on consumer issues.

Angie knew she was destined to provide consumer advice when family and friends started coming to her years ago, asking for help in handling consumer problems. They’d always say, “Don’t get mad, get Angie!” she says laughing.

Angie is a veteran journalist.  She was an anchor at WFTS-TV in Tampa for 7 years and hosted “Smart Health” on PBS stations throughout Florida, prior to joining Bay News 9.  She has also worked at TV and radio stations all over the country, including WTHR-TV in Indianapolis, WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh, WISN-TV in Milwaukee, WKBN in Youngstown, and WSYR Radio in Syracuse.

Angie is a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.  She is married, has two teenage daughters, and a black lab—all of which keep her very busy when she is not working.
