Bri MacNaught joined Spectrum News 13 in January 2020. A native of Melbourne, Florida and a graduate of the Nicholson School of Communication and Media at UCF, Bri considers it a dream come true to be able to report for the market she’s always called home.

With fond memories of growing up in the area, Bri aims to inspire more little girls in the area to pursue their goals just like she has. A proud sports reporter, Bri loves being able to share the stories of the athletes, coaches, teams, and fans who have overcome a major bump in the road, and to illustrate to her viewers that they can do the same.

With each task Bri takes on, her passion for sports and journalism shines through. During Bri’s first job out of college, she helped create one of the first girls lacrosse teams in the Panhandle. When it comes to great storytelling, Bri believes that it comes from understanding the immense trust people place in you to tell their story and the impact on others you may never know the story can have.

Outside of the newsroom, Bri places high importance on spending time with her family, who she describes as her biggest fans and the reason she’s able to live out her dreams to this day. When she’s out on the town, you can find her grabbing a bite at the Lazy Moon, going for a run around Lake Eola with her pup, Lola, or heading to a UCF game to cheer on her team.
