DELAND, Fla. (AP) — Police in Florida say they're trying to find whoever shot and damaged several unoccupied agency vehicles over the weekend.

A DeLand police news release says officers found a flat tire on a Police Athletic League van parked outside the station Sunday morning. Investigators determined that a bullet had struck the van's door and passed through the bench seats inside.

A spare K-9 vehicle, crime scene van and community service aide vehicle also sustained varying degrees of damage.

Nearby residents told police they had heard gunshots around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police didn't immediately release a motive for the shooting. No arrests were reported.
