ORLANDO, Fla. -- When Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens later this year, visitors will be able to buy blue milk from a Bantha farmer.

That's one of several new details that have emerged about the upcoming 14-acre land.

A reporter with Barron's toured the Disneyland construction site, sharing what's planned for Galaxy's Edge in a piece published Thursday.

The land is set in Black Spire Outpost on the planet of Batuu. Disney Imagineers visited Morocco and Istanbul for inspiration. Many of the buildings inside Galaxy's Edge will looked worn on their exteriors. This is by design.

Oga's Cantina, a local watering hole selling "otherworldly" concoctions (including alcohol), will only feature a handful of booths. Most patrons will have to stand inside the bar. The goal is to keep visits short and maximize capacity.

Visitors who venture into the marketplace area will be able to buy an assortment of Star Wars-themed items, including blue milk from Bantha farmers. The drink will be nondairy, according to Barron's.

Vendors will also sell meat roasted under a repurposed pod-racing engine.

There will be a shop that sells customizable droids. The droids can be programmed to signal when a storm trooper is near or recognize other droids that belong to friends and family members.

Dok-Ondar will be featured in another shop that sells one-of-a-kind items. Visitors will be able to haggle with an animatronic version of the trader for items in his collection.

Imagineers are working to create a completely immersive experience. So it's likely, as Barron's surmises, that Star Wars merchandise will downplay logos and come in packaging that fits within the land's story.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is expected to open this summer at Disneyland and late fall at Disney's Hollywood Studios at Disney World.
