ORLANDO, Fla. – Disney's Animal Kingdom will celebrate the holidays this winter with new décor and entertainment.

Starting November 8, each land at the theme park will get its own themed holiday decorations, according to post on the Disney Parks Blog.

Pandora—The World of Avatar will feature a Christmas display over at Pongu Pongu, which will include vintage pieces from Earth and handcrafted items from indigenous materials.

Discovery Island will feature sparkling white holiday decorations, animal-inspired luminaries on the rooftops and bird-shaped lanterns. There will also be life-size, puppets in the shape animals like reindeer and polar bears that will interact with guests.

Dinoland, U.S.A. will feature decorations inspired by Donald Duck and his friends as well as interactive games. Chip 'n Dale will also be on hand for the Holiday Hoopla Dance Party.

The park's Asia area will be decorated in celebration of Diwali, the festival of lights celebrated in India. Flowers and lanterns will illuminate the square between the Anandapur Theater and the waterfront stage.

Over in Harambe area of Africa, the holiday decorations will represent a blend of western and authentic African celebrations. Holiday-inspired music will be added to the daily performances.

Once night falls, visitors can watch a series of wintry tales projected onto the Tree of Life. The projections will be accompained by a holiday-inspired musical score.
