WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — Legoland Florida is gearing up for a pirate invasion with the return of PirateFest Weekends.

The pirate-themed event begins Jan. 22 and features character meet-and-greets, live shows, specialty food and more.
Visitors will meet characters such as Pirate Captain, Pirate Princess, Zombie Pirate and Captain Redbeard. There will also be pirate-themed photo spots around the theme park.
A few shows are also being offered during PirateFest Weekends, including Brickbeard’s Watersports Stunt Show, Treasure Behold and Academy of Arrgh.
Other activities include Lego builds and a scavenger hunt.
PirateFest Weekends runs every weekend through Feb. 6 and is included with theme park admission.
