ORLANDO, Fla. — In response to Hurricane Nicole hitting Florida, area theme parks and attractions made adjustments, with some closing in advance of the storm with other changing their hours of operation. 

Here’s a list of closures and reopenings. It will be updated as new information becomes available.

AQUATICA ORLANDO

Aquatica Orlando will be closed Wednesday and Thursday due to Tropical Storm Nicole. The water park plans to reopen on Friday. 

BUSCH GARDENS TAMPA BAY

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will be closed Thursday due to Tropical Storm Nicole. In a statement, the park said it made the decision after "reviewing the latest route of Tropical Storm Nicole and to ensure the safety of our ambassadors, guests and animals." Busch Gardens is enouraging visitors to check its website for updates on the park reopening. 

DISNEY WORLD

Disney World closed all four of its theme parks early on Wednesday ahead of the storm. The resort is moving forward with a phased reopening of its parks and Disney Springs on Thursday. Here are the hours.

Magic Kingdom will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party scheduled for 7 p.m. will take place.

EPCOT will be open from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

Disney's Animal Kingdom will be open from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. 

Disney's Hollywood Studios will be open from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., but Fantasmic! will not be performed. 

Disney Springs also began a phased reopening at noon Thursday.

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park will be closed Thursday, while Winter Summerland and Fantasia Gardens mini-golf courses closed early on Wednesday (at 7 p.m.) and remained closed Thursday.

GATORLAND

Gatorland will be closed on Thursday due to approaching weather conditions from Tropical Storm Nicole. The park expects to reopen on Friday, with regular hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

ICON PARK

The Wheel at ICON Park closed at 3 p.m. Wednesday and remained closed Thursday. The Carousel on the Promenade will be closed Wednesday and Thursday. 

Resturants and other attractions at the complex will remain open for business, according to officials, unless the weather becomes too severe. 

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER VISITOR COMPLEX

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex announced it will be closed Wednesday and Thursday because of expected severe weather from Tropical Storm Nicole. The visitor complex plans to reopen Nov. 11 after conducting a “thorough assessment of the property.”

LEGOLAND FLORIDA

Legoland Florida Resort adjusted its park hours in response to Tropical Storm Nicole. On Thursday, Legoland Florida Theme Park will be open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., while Peppa Pig Theme Park will be open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Legoland Water Park will be closed. 

Legoland Florida's hotels will remain open and continue normal operations. 

SEAWORLD ORLANDO

SeaWorld Orlando closed at 4 p.m. Wednesday due to Tropical Storm Nicole. The park remained closed on Thursday and plans to reopen on Friday. 

"Precautions are in place following the park's comprehensive weather preparedness plan to ensure the safety of our animals and ambassadors during this time," SeaWorld said in a update on its website. 

UNIVERSAL ORLANDO

Universal Orlando closed its theme parks and CityWalk early on Wednesday.

On Thursday, the resort announced that Universal Studios Florida and CityWalk had reoopened at 2 p.m. with limited experiences for Universal Orlando hotel guests only. Universal's Islands of Adventure reopened at 3 p.m. for hotel guests only. 

Volcano Bay water park remained closed Thursday.

The resort is scheduled to reopen for all guests at regular hours on Friday.
