Goodwill recently re-worked its Pittsford boutique-style store and changed it into an outlet.

Goodwill already has such great deals, but at the Outlet store on Monroe Avenue the deals are even better.

Jennifer Lake is Vice President at Goodwill of the Finger Lakes and spoke about what customers can expect.

"So this store like all of our other Goodwill stores. It has great stuff and a great price and it is even better here because everything here is 50 percent off that has been donated," Lake said.

This was Goodwill's former Blue Boutique and Goodwill's across the country are looking for the right opportunity to bring tremendous value to Rochester and that is what they’re doing here to fund their mission.

"When you donate to Goodwill and shop a Goodwill is so much more than a store. We have programs for people who are blind or visually impaired , we have 2-1-1 Lifeline that is a great resource in our community for suicide hotline and connecting people to needed resources like food pantries and emergency housing.  We also put people to work, it's our true workforce development mission."

One shopper sported a whole outfit from Goodwill: A Tahari dress, belt, shoes and a blazer — all for $15.56

"We’ve heard from our shoppers that they love the bargain hunting that we do in the store," Lake said. "We are blessed and always need the donations especially clothing and shoes no matter what time of year. Here we bring it under one roof at a great central location for the true bargain shopping experience."

The Goodwill outlet is located at 3350 Monroe Avenue in Pittsford across from Pittsford Plaza. It's open Monday through Saturday 10 to 6.
