Spectrum Bay News 9 will be at the Citrus County Education Foundation's 2019 Welcome Back for Teachers.  

Friday, August 2nd 

  • Teachers and support staff will be able to meet meteorologist Juli Marquez and Citrus County reporter Kim Leoffler.  
  • Elementary Teachers will receive Project Weather Activity Books
  • Pencils for other teachers and support staff

Lecanto High School Gymnasium - This event is for Citrus County teachers and support staff and is NOT open to the public.

St. Petersburg Science Festival

A festival to have fun while learning science in the sun!  Scientists and educators from nearly 50 organizations will provide hands-on activities.  Be sure to stop by the Spectrum Bay News 9 booth to meet Spectrum News 13 meteorologist Juli Marquez and Nick Merianos.
