TAMPA, Fla. — An early morning hit-and-run has left North Florida Avenue in the dark for a bit after a driver struck multiple cars at a dealership and knocked down power lines.
The driver struck cars parked at Royal Auto Trading, a used car dealership on North Florida Avenue, near East 143rd Avenue, on Friday morning.
The crash knocked down power lines and TECO crews were called in to fix the lines.
At one point, North Florida Avenue was closed, but it has since reopened.
There is no word on the driver.
The investigation is ongoing.
