TAMPA, Fla. — The Tampa Police Department is calling a deadly shooting on East North Bay Street a targeted attack.

Robert Beausejour has been charged with murder, armed burglary and felon in possession of a firearm.
At around 9:07 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a 911 call for the 1600 block of East North Bay Street where they found a man dead.
Neighbors say a single gunshot put an end to an argument between two men. They say the argument may have been over a woman who lives at a nearby home.
The man shot was identified as Jeffrey Negron.
The investigation revealed that Beausejour forced his way into a residence and confronted Negron. A physical confrontation followed, and police say Beausejour shot Negron.
The case is still under investigation.
