  • This double blind study is aimed to reduce the symptoms of COVID in an effort to minimize hospitalizations

  • The appeal to test these drugs is because all three are available and affordable

  • The drugs being looked at normally aren’t used to treat COVID

The drugs being looked at normally aren’t used to treat COVID.

Ivermectin is used to treat parasites in humans. It was widely criticized as being a medicine for animals. But it is in fact, used to treat people as well.

Two other medications being tested are normally used to treat asthma and OCD.

The national study is working to enroll 15,000 participants.

This double blind study is aimed to reduce the symptoms of COVID in an effort to minimize hospitalizations.

To qualify, you must be over 30, have tested positive for COVID in the past 10 days, and have at least two COVID related symptoms like fatigue, fever and cough.

The appeal to test these drugs is because all three are available and affordable. If it works, doctors hope it will allow more folks to recover at home.
