Karen

Karen has become very disorganized today and has been downgraded to a tropical depression. It could still bring heavy rain to Puerto Rico.

Karen is probably close to becoming an open wave and it could dissipate or, once it moves further north, it could redevelop.

There is great uncertainty in the long range forecast as there is little agreement amount computer models.  A strong high builds in north of Karen in a few days — this could cause a stall and eventual move back to the west by early next week.
