Help is on the way for some Pinellas County students who are having trouble in school.

The differential literacy program Achieve 3000 is being used to help 11th- and 12th-grade students who failed the Reading FCAT.

All high schools have been equipped with the program and a laptop lab to support it. The materials and computers were paid for with Referendum funding.

Students have to pass the FCAT to graduate. Teachers say they're already seeing some improvement.
