New administrator takes over at Hernando County Health Department

The Hernando County Health Department has a new leader.

Robin Wright has been appointed to serve as the health department's new administrator.

Wright replaces Phil Spence, who resigned from the position on Nov. 30.

Since 2008, Wright has been the administrator of the Putnam County Health Department.  In August, she took over as interim administrator of the Health Department in Citrus County.

Wright has a bachelor's degree from Georgia Southwestern University and a master's degree in accounting from the University of North Florida.
