A St. Petersburg College professor has been named one of the top professors in the country.
Tony Smith teaches speech at St. Petersburg College. The Princeton Review recently named him one of the top 300 professors in the United States.
Smith ended up on the list thanks to students who rated him highly.
"I know what it's like giving speeches myself," he said. "So being able to help them get comfortable and realize they can do it and then help them get through it...that's a really nice feeling. It's priceless."
Smith is one of only 10 Florida professors on the list.
