A fire severely damaged a two-story house in Citrus County on Saturday night, authorities said.

Firefighters responded to the fire at 6240 E. Forest Trail just after 11 p.m. and found the home fully involved in flames, the Citrus County Sheriiff's Office said. Authorities said it took longer than usual for crews to get to the scene because of the remoteness of the location, poor road conditions and an inaccurate location form the caller.

Damages were estimated at $80,000 to the structure and approximately $40,000 to the contents, authorities said.

No injuries were reported.
