Three puppies were stolen from a suburban Denver pet store and it was caught on surveillance video.

The Denver Post reported the men picked up a German Shepherd puppy and two Maltese puppies inside the Puppies 'n' Stuff store in Northglenn on Thursday, Nov. 7 and ran out.

Police said the men left in an SUV driven by a woman. A witness who followed the men to the SUV was clipped and knocked down as the SUV drove away.

The witness was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Police said the witness wasn't able to tell investigators the license plate number.
