"Iron Man 3" is projected to be the biggest movie of the summer.

The movie promises action, suspense and comedy. It also features a local actor from Lakeland.

It’s full of big named stars like Gwyneth Paltrow, Robert Downey Jr. and Justin Kucsulain?

Kucsulain’s name may not ring a bell but he said it will soon, especially since his first acting role was a guard to the suspected villain in "Iron Man 3."

“The only thing that I did was carry a guy, threw him down. Carried a lot of plastic guns that looked really real,” Kucsulain said.

Well that’s what made the actual movie. Kucsulain said he shot another major scene that may show up once this box office hit comes out on DVD.

“I was told by friends at Marvel that, that scene will make the director’s cut,” he said.

The former model and mixed martial arts fighter just moved from Lakeland to Tampa to pursue acting and everything that comes with it. That includes big opportunities, long hours and very little pay.

“I drove to Miami and slept in my car for a week because they didn’t give any per diem,” said Kucsulain.

He said he did get strict instructions to keep Iron Man 3 under wraps. That meant no cell phones on set, tweets or spoiler alerts!

And he found out just who the real villain was at the same time as everyone else in the theatre.

In its opening weekend, "Iron Man 3" brought in $175 million.

That's the second biggest debut ever, only behind The Avengers. "Pain and Gain" starring Mark Walberg and The Rock came in at number two. And "42," the baseball movie based on the life of Jackie Robinson, came in third.
