A school bus in Lakeland caught on fire on Thursday afternoon with three students on board.
According to reports,a handicapped accessible school bus with three students, one helper, and the driver on board caught fire around 2 p.m. off of Lakeland Highlands Road.
Officials said one of the students was in a wheel chair.
According to fire officials, the fire originated in the engine compartment but the cause is under investigation.
Everyone got off the bus and no one was injured.
