A special gift was give to the students and staff at Myakka City Elementary school in Manatee County.
The Mosaic Company made a huge donation to the school.
On Friday, a $65,000 check was presented to Principal Chuck Fradley.
The money will be used to enhance and upgrade the school’s technology programs.
“This donation will make a real difference in the lives of our students, faculty and staff,” Dr. Fradley said. “The school will use the funds to replace and upgrade current technology hardware and software to ensure that the students in Myakka have the most up to date technology at their fingertips.
"The partnership between Mosaic and the Myakka Community shows that the Mosaic Company values and supports the education of our students.”
