A Corvette rear-ended an SUV on the Howard Frankland Bridge, according to FHP, leading to traffic backups that lasted hours early Tuesday evening.
The collision set both vehicles on fire, sending heavy smoke billowing into the air.
An FHP spokesperson says both occupants made it out safely.
The crash happened near the Kennedy Boulevard exit.
