Parts of Coronado Drive on Clearwater Beach were closed for a while Thursday afternoon because of a vehicle fire in the Pier House 60 parking garage.
Firefighters were called to the garage at 101 Coronado Dr. just after 1 p.m. and found a 2000 Ford Expedition on fire. The blaze was quickly extinguished, and no injuries were reported, officials said.
The roadway was closed because of the presence of fire equipment.
