A 43-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash Christmas afternoon in Riverview.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 3 p.m. in the northbound lanes of US 301 near Big Bend Road.
Troopers said Louis Matthew Bruno from Valrico was riding northbound on 301 when a southbound Chevy Impala turned left in front of him at Summerfield Square Drive.
The front of the motorcycle collided with the passenger side of the Impala, being driven by 82-year-old Carole Sue Rink of Brandon.
Bruno was later pronounced dead at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Rink and her 15-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries.
