Pinellas Congressman David Jolly has filed a bill preventing the transfer of the Guantanamo base to Cuba, without Congressional approval.

As we reported last week, one of Raul Castro's demands for normalizing relations with the U.S. is getting Guantanamo back.

Congressman Jolly said “What is lost in the Cuba debate is our national security and intelligence interest 90 miles from the US coastline. There is little justification to hand over our naval asset and unilaterally disarm. This is merely common sense."
