One person is dead after an Amtrak train collided with a vehicle in Auburndale Monday evening.
Verne Lee Davis Jr., 44, died in the accident, which happened on Stadium Road near Bennett Street.
Witnesses told police the arms were down and the lights were flashing at the tracks.
Cars were stopped on both sides and the driver went around other traffic and crossed the railroad tracks, according to witnesses.
The investigation continues.
