Pasco County is extending the storm debris removal deadline to give residents additional time to clean up from last week's tornadoes.

Pasco County Crews will now begin picking up storm debris in affected areas on Wednesday, April 13. Residents are asked to collect storm debris only, and to place debris between the sidewalk and the street for pick-up no later than 7:00 a.m. Wednesday.

Branches should be piled separately from things like metal, and debris should not be on the roadway or sidewalk.

The storm left a trail of debris from homes and businesses along a narrow path stretching from the Gulf of Mexico to just east of U.S. 19 in Port Richey early last Wednesday morning.
