A Spring Hill man died when he lost control of his motorcycle just after midnight Friday.

According to Florida Highway Patrol officials, Robert Pearson was traveling westbound on Linden Drive when he failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway.
Troopers say Pearson, 28, swerved into a neighboring yard and collided with a flood drain. He was ejected from his motorcycle.
Pearson was thrown into another yard, located at 12283 Linden Drive, troopers said.
Pearson died at the scene from his injuries.
