CITRUS COUNTY -- Citrus County deputies and a SWAT team arrested an armed man after a search in Homosassa.

The search took place the area of Park Drive in Homosassa. 

There were no injuries reported.

Officials have not released any details on what prompted the search, only that they have warned residents in the area to stay inside and lock their doors. 

Deputies are searching several wooded areas and abandoned homes in the areas of W. Cardinal Street and Park Drive before locating the suspect and taking him into custody.
