ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- St. Petersburg police are asking for the public's help in identifying an armed robbery suspect.

Police said a masked man, armed with a knife, walked into the 7-Eleven at 2632 Park St. N. on July 10 shortly after 4 a.m., and demanded money from the cashier. 

Police said the employee eventually chased the suspect out of the store, where the man took off the mask and paced around in the parking lot.

The suspect is described as a white man, about 5'9" with a slim build, and has blue eyes and short brown hair. 

Police also said the suspect rode up to the store on a red bicycle.
