ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- A St. Petersburg man accused of sexually abusing an 11-year-old girl and an 18-year-old girl was arrested on Thursday.

  • Man accused of sexually abusing two sisters -- ages 11, 18
  • Andrae Prince, 33, charged with sexual battery
  • Sexual activity occurred on more than one occasion

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, Andrae Prince, 33, forced the two sisters to engage in sexual activity with him on multiple occasions.

Officials said the abuse began during the 2018 calendar year, but the investigation didn't begin until Sept. 20 after the 11-year-old informed an adult at her school of the inappropriate sexual activity.

The young girl said Prince, who is known to the victim and in a position of custodial care, forced the girl to have inappropriate sexual activity with him. She said the last date a sex act occurred with Prince was on Sept. 9.

During the investigation, the girl's 18-year-old sister reported that she too was a victim and that Prince forced her to have sexual intercourse with him on Sept. 19.

Investigators were able to determine that the inappropriate activity occurred on more than one occasion.

When interviewed by detectives, Prince denied the allegations of inappropriate sexual activity on the 11-year-old but admitted to having sex with the 18-year-old.

Prince was arrested and charged with one count of capital sexual battery on the 11-year-old and one count of sexual battery on the 18-year-old.
