TAMPA, Fla. — A 33-year-old woman from Hawaii was killed late Sunday when she fell off a motorcycle on Interstate 4.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Jacquelyn Lindemann was a passenger on a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle just before midnight when somehow she fell off the vehicle, which was going eastbound on I-4. 

A 36-year-old woman driving an Nissan Altima struck Lindemann, who was in the eastbound lanes of the highway just west of Branch Forbes Road. 

Lindemann died at the scene. 

The driver of the Nissan, who stopped a the scene, was not injured. 

The driver of the motorcycle, a 32-year-old man from Orlando, also was not injured. He stopped the motorcycle and returned to the scene of the crash. 

The crash remains under investigation.
