CLEARWATER, Fla. — It's the season of giving — and Clearwater firefighters are asking for your help collecting toys for children who are in the hospital during the holidays. 

Firefighters will be collecting donations at Walmart, located at U.S. 19 and SR 590, on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. 

Shoppers can drop off toys, gifts, or cash for the effort. 

The gifts will be taken to children at Mease Countryside Hospital on Wednesday, December 19. They will also get a visit from Santa, who moonlights as a Clearwater firefighter.
