PALM HARBOR, Fla. — A 68-year-old man in a wheelchair died Monday after falling into a pool, Pinellas County deputies said.

Terry Chambers was found unresponsive at about 4:30 p.m. in the pool at his home on Berkshire Court.

His wife and a caretaker were home at the time but were unable to rescue Chambers, deputies said.

Paramedics pronounced Chambers dead at the scene.

The death doesn't appear suspicious, deputies said, though an investigation is ongoing.
