BRADENTON, Fla. — Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Bradenton. 

  • One dead in Bradenton shooting
  • Police: Joshua Gonzelez, 24, dead in shooting
  • 2 other people injured; police investigating

According to police, officers responded to the 2100 block of 7th Avenue East just after midnight. Officers found 24-year-old Joshua Gonzelez dead from injuries suffered in the shooting. 

While conducting the investigation, two other people were found wounded. The two wounded individuals were taken to an area hospital for treatment. 

Detectives are currently working to determine if these cases are related.

Gonzelez’s death is being investigated as a homicide.
