NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. — A couple getting married in New Port Richey Friday had their special day made even more special by a very unlikely special guest wedding crasher: a Pasco County deputy.

It turns out the families of the bride and groom, Christine and John Wurth, are huge fans of TV's "Live PD."
They asked their photographer, Courtney Rose with Good4U Events, if it was possible to get a picture with a deputy at their reception.
“Where the family lives in Connecticut, 'Live PD' is all the rage,” Rose said. “It’s how people know Pasco. It was an extreme request, but I liked it.”
She put it out on Facebook, and sure enough, word got back to Pasco Co. Sheriff Chris Nocco, who gave the go ahead to one of his deputies.
“For them to want us there, it shows how unique the bond is with the sheriff’s office and our community,” Nocco said.
Live PD crews showed up along with Corporal Mike Barrow as the wedding party was outside the Spartan Manor Banquet Hall in New Port Richey.
Barrow posed for some pictures before heading back out.
“The family couldn’t believe they came,” Rose said. “The bride’s sister exclaimed, 'it was a dream come true!' It was all you could ask for.”
In a phone interview, bride Christine Wurth said it made a memorable night even better.
“I thought it was so awesome for him to take time out of his day, to make my night even more special," she said. "It was already a fairytale, but that just made it so much more special,” Wurth said.
The wedding did not end up on the Live PD broadcast that night, but the camera crews were filming and it’s possible they may show up on a future episode.
