TAMPA, Fla. — Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office deputies are searching for a suspect in a shooting that occurred Sunday evening in Tampa's Uptown District.
Deputies responded to a report of shots fired at an apartment complex in the 13700 block of 19th Street North at around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
When they arrived, they learned the man who had been shot had been transported to an area hospital in a private vehicle. The man was later pronounced dead at AdventHeath Hospital.
The shooting came out of an altercation between the victim and a neighbor, according to investigators.
No other information has been released.
