TAMPA, Fla. — Senator Rick Scott and Governor Ron DeSantis will be in the Bay area Monday. 

Scott is visiting Port Tampa Bay to highlight his 'Fighting for Florida' budget agenda. 

That budget includes more than $140 million for Florida ports and major investments for projects to improve port infrastructure and security. 

Scott plans to speak at 2 p.m. today at cruise terminal 2 on Channelside Drive in Tampa. 

DeSantis is speaking in Largo Monday morning at the Florida Department of Veterans Affairs.

DeSantis spoke about the importance of ending veteran suicide, ensuring all military members know what services are available to them and how to get them, and preserving Florida’s military bases.

After that DeSantis participated in the Veterans Alternative Celebrity Pro-Am at the Valspar Championship at Innisbrook.
