ST. PETERBURG, Fla. -- A 19-year-old St. Petersburg man is accused of stealing nearly $6,000 worth of sunglasses from a vehicle.

Mark Linde was spotted on surveillance video burglarizing a Mercedes-Benz that was parked in a driveway on Coffee Pot Boulevard, according to an arrest affidavit.

Linde stole Tom Ford, Saint Laurent and Chrome Hearts brand sunglasses, all worth $5,950, from the vehicle, the arrest affidavit said. He also stole $200 in cash, police said.

According to court records, Linde tried to break into a Jeep Grand Cherokee on Locust Street the day before. 

Linde was arrested Friday and charged with burglary.
