TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa police are searching for a driver in a deadly hit-and-run crash involving a moped. 

The crash happened near the intersection of North Nebraska and East 112th avenues just before 9 p.m. Wednesday. 

Police said a woman riding a moped struck a pedestrian and she was ejected. 

That's when she was hit and killed by at least one vehicle, police said. The 33-year-old victim succumbed to her injuries. 

The pedestrian was not seriously injured. 

Tampa Police are searching for the driver(s) of the vehicle(s) that struck the victim.
