SAN ANTONIO — Day two of Fiesta marked the crowning of the 71st King Rey Feo.

The free event took place Friday evening at Arneson Theater. At the crowning, people were able to meet members of the king’s royal court, former Reyes Feos and members of the Consejo.
The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) crowned the first King Rey Feo in 1947. He ruled over the La Feria de las Flores celebrations at La Villita.
Rey Feo XXXII Logan Stewart founded the Rey Feo Consejo Educational Foundation in 1982. It is a membership-based organization of former Reyes Feos, and other business and city leaders. Members take part in traditions and support the fundraising efforts for the LULAC Rey Feo scholarship program.
