PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle this past weekend along Little Road in Pasco County. 

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Eric Peterson, 54, was walking westbound across Little Road near the intersection of Cricket Street into oncoming traffic. 

Peterson was struck by a Jeep Wrangler and was killed.

The crash occurred at about 9 p.m. Saturday.
