ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Low temperatures will be in the mid 70s inland and around 80 degrees at the coast.

On Tuesday, an onshore wind will bring a few late morning or midday storms onto the coast.

There will be more moisture, so scattered storms will develop into the afternoon.

Tuesday’s rain chance is 30 percent.

Highs will be in the low to mid 90s.

For Wednesday and Independence Day, it will be partly sunny with scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening. 

The rain chance is 40 percent each day. High temperatures will be in the mid 90s.

Friday through the weekend will feature typical July weather for our area: partly sunny skies with scattered showers and thunderstorms each day.

Highs will be in the low to mid 90s this weekend with morning lows in the 70s.
