Charles White, 40, was charged Wednesday with attempt to commit first-degree murder, solicitation, and conspiracy.

According to a Pasco County Sheriff's Office complaint affidavit, White sent the postcard containing the hit request to inmate Shaun Yeomans.

Investigators said White wanted the third man harmed because that man's brother killed White's son.

White reportedly confessed to sending the postcard and stated that he would kill the man himself if they were housed together.

The affidavit states both White and Yeomans are documented members of criminal white supremacist gangs.

The sheriff's office said steps were being taken to provide protection for the targeted inmate.
