Flooding rains are still occurring and will through Monday as rain bands continue to form and move around the east side of Barry.

Barry’s landfall was west of Morgan City, LA.
Flooding is expected on already saturated ground. If there is a silver lining here is that since Barry was a sheared storm and the north half of the circulation was essentially dry, the last 2 days didn’t feature as much rain for Southern Louisiana as expected a few days ago.
With that said, rain will now be in that area through Monday morning. East of the center, south winds off the Gulf of Mexico will continue to cause a storm surge issued along the Louisiana coast.
